UHI's unique university and brand
UHI offer students the choice of studying at one of thirteen colleges and research centres, over seventy local learning centres, or online.

The brief
The university was engaged in a piece of work with Chris and colleagues targeting our recruitment goals. The initial mood board through to the finished design all immediately felt related to our brand and existing materials whilst also taking those elements into a more contemporary online style.
The work has since attracted positive feedback from a number of audiences, in particular both how it works on smaller screen sizes and how refreshing it is to see a different approach in HE.

Breaking with tradition
It’s a word often overused by universities, but it’s fair to say that the University of the Highlands and Islands truly is a unique university, comprised of thirteen colleges and research centres, and over seventy local learning centres across Scotland.
This has shaped the personality of the university, its students and its courses, many of which take advantage of the region's unique environment, landscape and culture.
Following the brief to provide a design that embodied these characteristics, I worked with UHI to produce an engaging set of bilingual (English and Gaelic) responsive templates to set the university apart from its competition with a unique visual identity to be proud of.
